4 Moves that Burn Calories after Working Out

Life can get busy and you may not always have the time to spend hours working out. So when you do, be sure to get the most out of it by doing these moves that will help you burn calories after working out.

Push ups
Push ups may seem like a simple work out move, but do not be fooled! Push ups are effective in helping your body burn calories, even hours later. Also, lets not forget push ups can be very intense. Push ups work out several muscle groups, helping you get the most from your workout. To really maximize your workout, make sure you perfect the pushup form to ensure you target and utilize all those muscles. Now, try giving 5 rounds of 25 push ups a go.

Burpees
Burpees are intense and major calorie burners! Burpees are a great full body exercise that works on your chest, arms, glutes, quads, hamstrings, and even those abs. If you’ve never done a one before, here is a short video of how to do a burpee. Try giving 5 rounds of 20 burpees a go and see how you feel.

Crab Walks
Ever heard of a crab walk? Crab walks are a great body weight exercise that work on your upper arms, shoulders, triceps, back, abs, hamstrings and upper legs. To do a crab walk you can start by sitting on the ground with the knees bent hip with both feet and palms are placed on the floor about hip width apart. Then lift your body off the floor, putting all your weight on your palms and feet. Then start walking like a crab! You can go either forward or backward. This workout may sound easy but do not let it trick you. Add 10 rounds of 10 yard crab walks to your workout and feel the burn, baby!

Sprinting
Sprinting keeps you losing weight and burning calories longer then your average jogging. By sprinting, you are pushing your body to go full force. Adding interval sprinting is a great move for your workout. To do so, you should go into a full sprint for one minute then fall back to a steady jog, walk, or rest for one minute. You can repeat this for how ever many intervals you want. Try giving 10 minutes of this sprint interval workout a go and say good bye to those calories through out the day.

One thing all four of these exercises have in common is that they are all intense. Intensity is key to burning calories post workout. Add any of these moves to your workout for mega calories burned even hours later!
